WHO WE ARE |
MECOL
– Metalurgica Cobica LTDA. was founded in 1991, with the objective
of manufacturing machines and equipments, with own technology, focused
on processing of the cashew nut, the CNSL - Cashew Nut Shell Liquid and,
more recently, the development a line of equipments and a process for
the chestnut of Brazil. The founders of MECOL have tradition in research,
since 1966, when COBICA was created, one of the pioneer companies in Ceará,
in the branch of the processing of the cashew nut. Some of the researches
developed since then are:
Creation of prototypes for mechanical of the cashew nut;
Continuous peeling machines for the kernels of the cashew nut;
Manual cutting machine for cashew nut, without pedal;
Development of factories for the processing of the cashew nut, with automated stean system, controlled by a digital panel;
Expeller Press for extraction of the CNSL - cashew nut shell liquid;
Manual machine to break the hedgehog of the chestnut of Brazil;
Manual machine to break the chestnut of Brazil;
Continuos Dryer for the chestnut of Brazil.
