MECOL'S RESEARCH TRADITION

MECOL, a company located in Fortaleza-Ceará-Brazil, has its activities also turned to technological research related to machines and processes for cashew nut and the chestnut of Brazil.
Among the researches developed are:



Products developed from LCC (cashew nut oil), several resins and plywood.

1. A prototype of a shelling machine for cashew nuts, with automatic input and blade cutting, with patent pending at INPI (nr.9903145 - being concluded by Agrotech do Brasil Ltda, a company from the same group).
2. A complete mini-factory for the extraction of the cashew nut shell liquid.
3. Manual device for removal of the shell of chestnut of Brazil (concluded).

 

4. Maual device for breaking the chestnut of Brazil outer shell.

 

5. Fenolic resins thermo-fixed from cashew nut shell liquid, with use of agricultural residues as load in the production of laminates.

Examples: tiles, chairs, floors, etc.

Resistant to the predators(like termites), water, higt temperature, etc.

Roof coverings.

6. Manual shelling machine, without pedal, allowing the operator to work seated (ended).
